Kevin-Acupuncture patient Los-Angeles
In the best of times, working in a law firm is challenging. Juggling unreasonable requests, impossible deadlines and attorney egos is stressful. In the current economy, with resources spread thinner and short staffing, it's almost unbearable. As a result, I found myself annoyed, irritable, and constantly on edge, feeling neither rested nor energized. Neither invested in nor emotionally attached to my life, I felt as though I was just running as fast as I could to keep pace with the demands. In an effort to better manage my stress, and reverse the toll it was taking on my health, I decided to give Bomamed a try.
I think the biggest impact that my acupuncture treatments have had so far is on my attitude toward work, life, and everyday situations that arise, and my perceptions of and responses to them. Rather than immediately overreacting, becoming defensive or reserved, I'm now able to objectively assess a situation, remain calm, and address as needed. Regardless of the size and scope, I am now able to keep things in perspective and deal with things accordingly. This has also resulted in a calmer demeanor, and a better outlook.
Productivity has increased dramatically as a result of my acupuncture treatments. Where once I was lethargic and feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the volume of work being given to me, I am now able to effectively and efficiently manage the work I am responsible for, as well as the additional responsibilities inherent in progressing to the next level in my career.
I believe that the treatments have greatly assisted in reducing the intensity and duration of sickness, and view it as cleansing and releasing what has been held for too long.
There is no doubt that the exceptional quality of my work has returned. I am better able to focus and think ideas and situations through clearly, multitask without feeling overwhelmed or overworked, and produce error free work. Additionally, I've been better able to foresee potential situations before they arise, and provide either advice on addressing the outcome or suggest potential course of action.
Obviously, the better I'm feeling about myself and my attitude toward my work and my life, the better the atmosphere I'm working in and the energy I'm radiating, and the resultant positive impact it's had on others. I've moved from a work environment that was very stressful, with lots of anger, resentment, suspicion and mistrust to one of ease and camaraderie. As the de facto second in command, I am viewed with somewhat of a leadership/respect view. The negativity that was projected was palpable in the room, and the improved perspective and outlook has resulted in a calmer, more congenial atmosphere.
I've come to the realization that I have a choice every day regarding the attitude I will embrace for that day. I know I can't change the past, or the fact that people will behave in a certain way but I can affect my attitude. My treatments at Bomamed have cleared my head, and I've learned that 10% of life is what happens to me, and 90% of life is how I react to it.
